Blue Flag
Bibione received the blue flag by FEE for the 12th time even in 2009. This award means clean sea-water, clean coast and the drawing up of bathing infrastructures.
It is the result of activities of the local board of directors in order to guarantee clean sea- waters, an avant-garde equipped beach and therefore ecocompatible, the respect for the environment, for example the carrying out of cycle tracks and the differentiated waste collection.
Bibione is even the first European tourist resort to receive the environmental certification EMAS. This is not only a guarantee for the present clean environment, but even for the keeping of it. That's the reason why an Emas office was opened in Bibione, in order to give information about environment to all citizens, tourists and tourist operators.
